Background information on the restrictions for use of Diuron

Properly curing hay is critical for high quality hay that is not likely to spontaneously combust. We have asked experienced members how they test that their cereal and legume hay is cured and summarised their responses in thsi fact sheet.

However, always remember that no one method is 100% accurate, that moisture can vary within a range of conditions and that continual monitoring is critical.
