The Future of Fodder

The Australian Fodder Industry Association (AFIA) is proud to present the 2018 National Fodder Conference taking place from July 29 - 31 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
AFIA is currently working on the Pre-Conference Tour and Conference program, which will become available in early May 2018. We hope you will be joining us in Adelaide when we delve into the chosen theme of The Future of Fodder, where we discover new research and technologies, create life-long friendships, further develop your networks and experience it all in one of Australia's premier conference venues.

Accommodation

AFIA has negotiated special accommodation rates for our conference attendees at the Stamford Plaza Adelaide. The Stamford is located in the heart of the city and in the key cultural boulevard, North Terrace, and has all the facilities and services you can expect from a 5-star hotel. The Stamford Plaza is conveniently two minute walk to the Adelaide Convention Centre, a 10 minute drive from Adelaide Airport and 20 minutes drive to the famous Glenelg beach. There are various rooms available with the option to add breakfast. Attendees can also extend their stay up to three days either side of the conference at the negotiated rate. AFIA recommends you book your accommodation in advance to secure your room.

Pre-Conference Tour - Kangaroo Island

We are excited to announce that the Pre-Conference Tour will be held on Kangaroo Island from Thursday 26th to Saturday 28th July. The itinerary will include multiple farm tours including a honey farm and sheep dairy, presentations from farmers and agronomists, local produce and cellar door tastings, visits to national parks and wildlife experiences, and plenty of opportunity to socialise over dinner and learn and share with your peers. Places will be strictly limited and we expect this years tour to sell quickly, so we advice members to return registration forms back promptly. Registration details will be sent with conference registration packs in the mail in early May 2018.
