2018 National Fodder Conference
Welcome to the 2018 National Fodder Conference, sponsored by Massey Ferguson
The Australian Fodder Industry Association (AFIA) is the peak national body for hay exporters and domestic hay and silage producers. AFIA’s key mandate is to connect all sectors of the supply chain, from seed to feed. AFIA is delighted to be hosting the 2018 National Fodder Conference, the fodder industry’s prime annual event. The Conference will take place from 29th to 31st July at the premiere conference and exhibition venue, the Adelaide Convention Centre.
The 2018 conference theme is The Future of Fodder, which will frame panel sessions in the two-day speaker program. The program will host a diverse mix of international and nationally renowned industry leaders and thinkers. The Future of Fodder encompasses four broader ideas to be explored throughout the conference:
• Is diversity key for a sustainable fodder future?
• What are the innovations in technology?
• Can we improve industry profitability through evidence-based research and development?;
• Haystack fires, health and safety: how to be risk-savvy in the fodder industry
